FRAME Recruitment Culture

Our culture

Being a trusted advisor to our clients and candidates is a serious business and a responsibility we don't take lightly. Our clients choose FRAME as their recruitment partner, and our candidates trust us to manage their careers. They do this because of the calibre of our people. What makes FRAME stand out from other Architecture and Interior Design recruitment businesses is our people and they are also what makes us stand out from our competitors.

We come from all sorts of different backgrounds and experiences, but we all share one common characteristic and that is we are passionate about people, and we are passionate about what we do. We pride ourselves on recognising our people's successes based upon their achievements, not on what they did or did not do before joining us. Career growth and transparency around how you achieve promotion is an integral part of how we nurture diverse and inclusive teams.

FRAME has a high reward culture, but this extends way beyond simply paying people the most. We pride ourselves on having the best-in-class performance pay structure, but also on the benefits and incentives we offer, like flexible working. Our culture is focused on empowering our people and giving them responsibility for managing their business area like they are managing their own business. We will provide you with all the tools, the training and coaching, the guidance and leadership, the support and sometimes a shoulder to cry on.

Life as a Recruitment Consultant

Day to day role

No two days are the same in recruitment and you will interact with an incredibly diverse range of people from all walks of life. One day you could be advising a Practice Owner on how you will help them recruit in a skill short market. The next day, you could be advising a Graduate who is taking their first steps on the career ladder.

Diverse market

The Architecture and Interior Design sectors are diverse and you will be speaking and working with different people every day. This takes a special sort of person. Our business is performed over the telephone, on video calls and wherever possible face to face. We understand the value of getting to know our clients and candidates and building long-term and lasting relationships.

We operate in specialist skill short sectors where competition for talent is fierce and we spend time proactively building talent pools through networking and candidate attraction strategies.

Our consultants

Our best recruitment professionals are as good at talking to people as they are at listening, and quite honestly this is what they spend most of their time doing. Our best people create real conversations. We are in the 'people business' and high emotional intelligence is key to our success. Sometimes you need to promote and sell an opportunity to a candidate on why they should give up a good job. They might be being 'bear-hugged' by their existing employer, you will need to convince them to take your client's job instead.

Sometimes you will need to introduce yourself to a new practice who we have never worked with before and explain to them why we should be their recruitment partner. Sometimes you will need to let a candidate down gently and tell them they didn't get the job. All of this requires great people skills.

The people we employ are as diverse as our clients and candidates. Some people join us as Graduates and work their way up, others come from other sectors and change careers. Some of our people come from the architecture and interior design sectors or have recruitment experience. We are open-minded, but what we do look for is a passion for people.
