Overview of the Role

The Senior Designer Project Manager position offers a unique opportunity to represent the company to clients and external networks while contributing to the design development of projects. They are seeking candidates with a minimum of 6 years' experience in all facets of design and design project management, particularly in high-end F&B, spas, and large-scale hotel developments. A deep passion for and knowledge of interior architecture, design, furniture, and product design is essential.


Design Creative Management
  • Collaborate with the project team to develop the creative vision for projects.
  • Conduct design research, particularly during concept development.
  • Develop project materiality alongside the FF&E team.
  • Ensure adherence to the company's stylistic design standards throughout all project stages.
Design Project Management
  • Support project development from conception to completion, adhering to company standard phases and documentation.
  • Liaise directly with clients, operators, consultants, and contractors to ensure project excellence.
  • Attend client presentations as needed.
  • Efficiently manage workload and delegate tasks to designers to ensure team productivity.
  • Coordinate with the FF&E team on all project aspects.
  • Assist in drafting pitch documents under the guidance of Directors and Associates.
  • Serve as a representative of the company to clients, contractors, and suppliers.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to Designers on client interactions.
Design Documentation
  • Assist in communicating and managing the design development process with clients.
  • Contribute to design and construction documentation, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company standards.
  • Maintain the standard for all project management documentation.
Team Responsibilities
  • A good understanding of the costing of projects. 
  • Mentor Designers and ensure compliance with company policies.
  • Ensure adherence to health and safety requirements.
