As a Junior Interior Designer, you will have the chance to work alongside our Directors, and be part of a vibrant team of over 25 designers and interior architects. With us, you will contribute to a flourishing design practice known for its creativity and commitment to delivering exceptional results.
  
Job Title: Junior Interior Designer
Salary: £22,000-24,000
Work Pattern: Full Time, 37.5 hours a week.
Working Hours: 9:00am-5:30am or 9:30am-6:00pm
  
Responsibilities:
  • Assist Senior Designers.
  • Produce accurate schedules for curtain and furniture manufacturers.
  • Source and specify products and materials, ensuring adherence to budget constraints.
  • Create comprehensive and professional mood boards and concept documents for client presentations.
  • Take responsibility for multiple projects, from concept development to installation and styling.
  • Prepare detailed and precise drawings, designs, plans, and schemes.
  • Collaborate effectively with other designers as part of a team.
  • Stay up-to-date with new developments and design trends in the industry.
  • Provide support on various assignments and tasks as needed.
  
Requirements:
  • UK resident or valid UK working visa.
  • Full, clean driving license for site visits.
  • Able to work full-time in our Design Studio.
  • Fluent in spoken and written English.
  • Qualification (degree or diploma) in Interior Design/Interior Architecture.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
  • Passion for interior design, with knowledge of fabrics, wallpapers, furniture, lighting, etc.
  • Computer literate, proficient in Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign and Photoshop).
  • Good working knowledge of AutoCAD and Sketch Up; experience with EstiPC is a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills (written, verbal, presentational) for client and supplier interactions.
  • Strong visual and conceptualization abilities.
  • Effective team player, capable of managing multiple projects.
  • Eye for design, color, 3D, and spatial awareness.
  • Efficient time management and organizational skills.
  • Self-confident and open to constructive feedback.
  • Familiarity with FF&E suppliers and residential interior design is advantageous.
  • Photography skills are a plus.
