Job Description

Are you an ambitious Senior Designer with a passion for team leadership and seeking a step up in your career? Do you have a flair for aesthetics and an eye for detail when it comes to FF&E, budgeting, and project coordination? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our client, a prestigious interior design firm known for their high-value projects and exceptional design expertise.

About the Role:
In this role, you will serve as a Team Leading Senior Designer, responsible for managing a team of talented designers and collaborating closely with the Creative Director who will provide design direction. The ideal candidate is someone who is hands-on, not afraid to get involved in the design process, and not just delegating tasks to others. You will work closely with suppliers, have a good understanding of Esti, and possess strong skills in AutoCAD and the Adobe Suite.

The projects will involve working within new build developments, where you will add the finishing touches with your layering expertise. These projects encompass a wide range of elements, including loose furniture, joinery, wall/ceiling layering, AV integration, lighting, electrics, and plumbing. The majority of the clients are UHNWIs and developers seeking high-value show residences.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage a team of designers and provide design direction under the guidance of the Creative Director.
  • Demonstrate strong competence and knowledge in FF&E, budgeting, and project coordination.
  • Utilise AutoCAD and Adobe Suite at an advanced level to create stunning designs.
  • Collaborate effectively with suppliers and understand Esti for seamless project execution.
  • Ensure on-site excellence and hyper-organized project coordination.
  • Oversee multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality results.
  • Foster a positive and collaborative team culture, with open communication and mutual respect.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a Senior Designer with the ability to lead a team effectively.
  • Expertise in FF&E, budgeting, and project coordination.
  • Strong skills in AutoCAD and Adobe Suite.
  • Excellent understanding of suppliers and Esti.
  • Track record of working on high-end residential projects.
  • Hyper-organised with the ability to coordinate complex projects.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
  • Aesthetic flexibility - open to considering different design styles if supported by a diverse portfolio.
Benefits:
  • Competitive salary range of £50,000 - £60,000.
  • Private healthcare benefits.
  • Bonus scheme linked to net profit.
  • Cycle to work scheme and access to video call therapy service.
  • Generous holiday package with 25 days leave, 8 bank holidays, and a Christmas and New Year shutdown (3 days).
  • Hybrid work model with 3-4 days in the office to allow for mentoring and collaboration.
  • Join a tight-knit, team-oriented business with a strong work ethic and emphasis on mutual respect and growth.
Application Process:
Please submit your updated resume and a diverse portfolio showcasing your design prowess (PDF format, 9mb limit).
