Wide-ranging and exciting role for a highly motivated project manager with extensive experience in high-end residential or luxury hospitality.
Our client is an innovative and creative design studio based in Central London. They specialise in high-end projects in both the UK and globally, offering a turnkey service from both Exterior and Interior Architecture, Interior Design through to Project Management.
Experience working on high-end project either residential, commercial or hospitality with an excellent attention to detail and a strong understanding of quality is a must. The role will also include being part of the senior management team, making sure the studio operates successfully across all projects and meets expected deadlines.
Key Responsibilities
- Efficient communication and reporting to project team, stakeholders and wider studio
- Prepare Project Execution Plan
- Project coordination and Design management
- Produce initial budget and procurement strategy based on the design intent and employer’s requirements
- Oversee the tender process with the assistance of the professional team
- Manage and monitor the development of the design and project coordination during the construction stage
- Implement processes to monitor and manage the progress of the project including design, programme, cost and statutory requirements
- Ensure projects within the studio are meeting key milestones
- Assist the senior management team in ensuring projects are adequately resourced in line with project timelines and deliverables
- Extensive project management experience in the UK
- High-end project experience either residential, commercial or hospitality - Contract values between £1m and £15m
- Knowledge and understanding of bespoke and high-end finishes
- Software skills must include: Autocad, Smartsheet, Excel and Microsoft Project
- This is a client facing role, the candidate should demonstrate good communication, excellent spoken and written English, and organisational skills
- Exceptional technical knowledge with a great eye for detail and construction execution
