FRAME is partnering with a top AJ100 practice to recruit for a BIM Coordinator to join their in-house central support team.

My client is located in a superb area of London, in a modern open plan office with a rooftop terrace that's used for Friday afternoon drinks and team meetings. The practice operates a 4:1 hybrid working model and offers flexi working time as well. My client are at the forefront of BIM in the architectural world, having implemented a policy that all projects are aligned for BIM delivery in early 2015.

As the BIM Coordinator you will:
  • Be the first contact for any BIM queries on the project
  • Perform coordination and clash detection exercises on the project, and document these
  • Host BIM Coordination meetings for the project and monitor training needs on the project team to ensure efficient delivery
  • Maintain a project BIM Execution Plan (BEP) and model element matrix and monitor significant changes to the project which affects internal and external teams and stakeholders
  • Maintain the model including preventative maintenance and monitoring to identify excessive modelling, surging in file size and produce and action formal model reviews
  • Preparation of model and other BIM files in preparation for exchange with consultants

In order to be suitable for this role you will:
  • Have an understanding of the entire architectural process and technical requirements
  • Expert knowledge of all BIM technology, software and processes
  • Experience in delivering software and process training
