Requirements:

Senior Architectural Technologist/Architectural Technologist or BIM Coordinator 
  • Proficiency in BIM and Revit is essential, and experience using this in practice
  • Must have in-depth knowledge of BIM standards to provide effective support
  • Background in BIM coordination and architectural technology
  • Assist with daily support for Revit usage and provide technical expertise for project delivery across various RIBA stages
  • Collaborate closely with the Head of BIM to implement BIM Standards, including training and monitoring
  • Manage virtual design and construction processes, ensuring accurate documentation of design contract documents
  • Provide internal support for Revit/AutoCAD applications on a day-to-day basis
  • Ensure audit and compliance with standards, particularly contractual Level/Stage 2 BIM requirements
  • Maintain project BIM Execution Plan, Master Information Delivery Plan, etc.
  • Manage project Common Data Environments (CDE) using Aconex and BIM 360 environments
  • Offer support for model management, including BIM planning, collaboration, and coordination
  • Maintain, issue, and stakeholder models
  • Coordinate clash detection meetings with design team
  • Demonstrate full working knowledge of UK BIM standards, including BS EN ISO 19650 suite, PAS & BS 1192 suite of standards, and Government Soft Landings with COBie
  • Essential software knowledge: Autodesk AEC Suite (with Revit), BIM 360, Navisworks, Microsoft Office 365,  familiarity with Twinmotion
  • Desirable qualifications: Chartered Architectural Technologist, BIM Certified
