FRAME is currently recruiting for a Graphic Designer on behalf of a multi-disciplinary studio based in Central London. My client is based in a purpose-built and newly renovated office which is open plan with built in kitchen and meeting rooms. You will be sitting with the Graphics Team but you will be able to easily communicate across the office with various project teams. The team are incredibly sociable and regularly go to the pub together on Friday lunchtime/afternoon. As a Graphic Designer you will be working as part of a team and making recommendations for the concept, design and art direction for a range of 2D and 3D Graphics and Signage/Wayfinding for Hospitality and Leisure projects. You will be responsible for preparing photo visualisations and mock ups of signage proposals for client review and eventual usage. You will lead, organise and deliver full Signage and Graphics packages to print/production ready standard. You will assist your clients at initial briefing to turn their ideas into concepts and develop them using your experience in Graphic Design into realistic designs.
A large part of the role will be based around signage so it is important that you are capable of producing detailed drawings of signage designs. You will also be required to liaise with internal and external consultants, attend project meetings and be comfortable presenting your ideas and suggesting solutions.
Alongside the main bulk of your role you may also be asked to provide in-house marketing material and assist in the production of pitch and bid documentation.
So what experience do you need in order to be considered for the role?
You must have experience in a client facing position as a Graphic Designer. You will need to be confident using the entire Adobe Creative Suite i.e. InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop. You will need strong skills in both written and spoken English and be eligible to work in the UK. Beneficial skills include experience of Project Management and Digital Design experience.
