FRAME is recruiting for a Senior Structural Engineer to join a mid-sized multi-disciplinary consultancy based in the London area. This opportunity is an excellent step forward for a senior engineer looking for a more prominent position in a progressive team. Your job will be to nurture and lead the young, aspiring engineers coming through the ranks as well as taking a pivotal role in the design of small-mid sized commercial and residential developments. On a day to day basis you will be responsible for leading a small team within the structures setup, whilst acting as the second-in-command for the structures director.
The company are a well established engineering consultancy with several UK offices, completing and currently tendering for a vast array of projects. The client is well respected in the industry with no shortage of business and plenty more to compete for in future.
Candidates must have a proven track record of UK based projects within a top UK consultancy as well as being chartered with either the ICE or IStructE. In addition, at least 2 years' experience managing a small team of engineers is required.
-Outstanding knowledge of structural design.
-Experience designing and detailing concrete, steel, masonry and timber.
-Ability to work and analyse 2D/3D projects.
-Passion for advising junior engineers, and ensuring their development.
-Ability to manage a small team throughout a project's life cycle.
-Ability to manage several projects at once.
The successful candidate will be a conscientious, detail-orientated individual capable of driving forward a team of young engineers. This position is ideal for an experienced engineer to act as a project lead and develop professionally whilst answering to the director of the structural team.
The company is offering salaries ranging from £45,000 - £55,000 per annum for the right candidate as well as great business benefits and incentives.
