London Festival Of Architecture 2019

This year marks the 15th edition of the Festival of Architecture and we couldn’t be more excited about it.

From the 1st June 2019 the City of London will welcome the return of the London Festival of Architecture - one of the most important events in the FRAME calendar and we look forward to it every year.

If like the FRAME Recruitment team you are passionate about all things Architecture, you’ll want to make sure your diary is blocked out for this month and that you attend as many of the events on offer as possible. The Festival offers the chance for Architects and individuals alike to learn about the latest industry trends, as well as network and immerse themselves in all things Architecture. There are a number of workshops, studio nights and exhibitions on offer, and you will not want to miss out.

The Architecture & Interior Design team from FRAME Recruitment will be in attendance and plan to visit a number of events and talks around London. If you are planning on attending, this is a fantastic opportunity for you to meet up with our expert Architecture & Design Consultants for a quick catch up.

Many of the team from FRAME Recruitment will be in attendance who will be attending several events throughout June. This event offers our consultants the chance to further their passion and connect with some of the industry’s leading Architects, Practices and Architecture Firms from across the UK.

What can you expect?

Every year the festival sets a theme and we are always eager to find out what it is. This year the theme is ‘boundaries’, which gives exhibitors and attendees the chance to showcase their own stance on what ‘boundaries’ in Architecture means to them.

If the festival is anything like last year we know it will be a huge success. Being such a popular event, you’ll need to take into consideration that the Festival will attract thousands of people, meaning workshops get booked up fast. Therefore, we advise taking some time to look at the events on offer and start planning well in advance. More details around the Festival programme can be found here.

Here are just a few (of many) events that have caught our attention:

  • 1st June - Manhattan Loft Gardens in which there is an amazing 42-storey building designed by SOM who will be hosting ‘The Tour’ that will feature three sky gardens, a selection of loft apartments, and the restaurants, bars and design hotel.

  • 7th / 14th / 21st / 28th June - Open studio nights around Clerkenwell, Fitzrovia, Shoreditch, Southwark - the LFA open studio nights are one of the most widely attended and gives attendees the opportunity to see practices in their natural environments, and uncover the  exciting and innovative new projects in the London scene.

The Festival has something for everyone and there is a huge variety of events, exhibitions and workshops to choose from.

We hope to see you there.
