Job title: BIM Coordinator    
Role: Permanent position - £40,000 - £55,000   
  
This role is for an esteemed, large scale multidisciplinary practice of professionals, they are looking for someone to play a crucial role in collaborating with our BIM lead to establish and manage a comprehensive studio-wide library and family creation system. Additionally, you'll have the opportunity to delve into intricate projects at BIM Level 2 in the future.

Key Responsibilities:
  
  • Ownership, auditing, and expansion of the studio Revit library.
  • Creation of custom Revit families tailored to project requirements.
  • Assistance to architects and designers in asset creation.
  • Development of new workflows and related guidelines.
  • Provision of one-to-one mentoring on optimal workflow practices.
  • Collaboration with the BIM lead on project strategies and model setup.
  • Auditing and troubleshooting of Revit models.
  
Requirements:
  
  • Degree in a relevant field such as architectural technology, architecture, construction, or BIM technician.
  • Strong understanding of building codes and industry standards.
  • Excellent proficiency in Autodesk Revit for architecture.
  • Advanced skills in family creation, auditing, and editing.
  • Proficiency in parametric modeling and asset creation.
  • Familiarity with ISO19650 standard and documentation.
  • Previous experience with Cobie datasets and clash detection workflows.
  • Working knowledge of Autocad, Navisworks, and other relevant software.
